1973 August Moreys get DAF Trucks franchise at Ringwood
1982 May AM formed (traded as Morey DAF until 1987)
1983 January Aquired Avonmouth DAF
1984 June AM Fareham opened
1985 May AM Gloucester opened
1987 August DAF and Leyland Trucks merge. November AM buy Lex Southampton and Poole and sell AM Avonmouth
1990 June AM Bournemouth opened combining Ringwood and Poole
1994 January AM Portsmouth opened
1995 January AM opens at Southampton Airport
1996 October Robert Morey retires
1997 February AM buys Riverside Motors, Newport IOW
1998 August AM Salisbury opened
2003 June Relocated AM Newport IOW
2003 November Management buy-in
2004 May Staff share ownership scheme started
2006 October AM opens Van SuperCentre at Millbrook
