A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Parts Manager at our site in Taunton.

**We are opening a new site in Bridgewater towards the end of the year and our Taunton operation will be relocating to Bridgewater so we are looking for an incredibly organised, structured individual as you will play a pivotal role in moving the parts function to the new site **

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager looking for a new challenge and to support our ever growing business move into the next chapter.

What you’ll do:

  • Support and drive your team to achieve set KPI’S and performance objectives set by both DAF/PACCAR’s Dealer Target Program (DTP) and respective KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Maximise service sales opportunities through the workshop
  • Create local sales campaigns and incentives to grow sales and maximise margin.
  • Ensure both warranty and R&M returns are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Attend management meetings and present branch results.
  • Manage stock control, including stock taking and adjustments.
  • Manage/control branch and running costs
  • Responsibility for the daily running of all aspects of the department
  • Responsibility for maintaining health and safety within your depot.
  • Lead from the front and by example encouraging your team to achieve results.
  • Support the organisation’s senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • To ensure a first-class service to all our customers.
  • To drive the team focusing on great customer service and communication.
  • Manage marketing and sales campaigns

What we need from you:

  • Organised, structured individual
  • People leader and excellent communicator
  • Previous experience in change management or site relocation would be desirable
  • Proven track record in hitting KPIS/Sales performance
  • Previous experience in a motor vehicle parts department would be an advantage.
  • Previous Management experience in a busy Parts/Sales department essential.
