HGV Service Manager/Depot Manager
Location: Taunton/Bridgwater
Salary: Basic £50k + Benefits including bonus scheme OTE IRO £58K

We are excited to be able to offer a rare opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic team. At Adams Morey Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering an unrivalled after sales service. Our commitment to excellence has earned us a reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction and this position will be pivotal to the opening and running of our new state of the art facilities under construction at Bridgwater due to open Q4 2024. Our new dealership which is situated close to junction 24 off the M5 Motorway, will provide a 9 bay workshop and a large parts stock holding to enable us to continue to provide our customers with the level of service expected from DAF Trucks who have secured their 29th consecutive year of market leadership in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HGV service department. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of skilled technicians and support staff.
Service Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of service delivery, maintaining efficiency and quality in all service operations.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: HGV service management or a similar role. Franchise experience beneficial but not essential
Education: Relevant technical qualification or degree in automotive engineering or a related field desirable but not essential.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HGV maintenance, repair procedures, and diagnostic systems.
