Last Sunday colleagues and their friends and family walked 14-miles across Bournemouth Bay to support the #RMfamily in memory of Royal Commando Adam Robert Brown. Aged 25, Adam was tragically killed whilst serving in Afghanistan on 1st August 2010.

One of Adam’s dreams was to own a beach hut at Mudeford in Dorset where he spent many childhood holidays. Upon returning from previous tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, Adam used the beach hut for rest and recuperation. In 2015, Adam’s family and friends raised money to turn his dream into a reality and purchased a hut on Mudeford Sandbank. Every year, Adams Hoofing Hut welcomes serving and veteran Royal Marines and their families to the beach to enjoy quality time together at no cost.
