Bodybuilder Friendliness
The New Generation DAF XD and XF Electric trucks offer best-in-industry bodybuilder friendliness, thanks to flexible and modular battery pack configurations. Battery pacls can be optimally configured to the vehicles application leaving enough space for side loader superstructures and crane legs. Plus, the available 650V e-PTO option allows for powering auxiliary equipment—like electro-hydraulic cranes or cooling installations—without needing a separate generator.
Charging: Faster and More Convenient
One of the standout features of the DAF XD and XF Electric trucks is their rapid DC charging capabilities up to 325kW. A 3-string battery pack can be charged from zero to 80% in just over 45 minutes. Even the largest available battery pack can be fully charged in under two hours. And if you’re operating in more remote areas, an optional on-board AC charger offers added flexibility with up to 22 kW capacity.
