Built for off-road performance
To meet the requirements of operators in the construction industry, the DAF XDC and XFC have been built specifically for vocational and construction applications and are available with options for both single and double drives. Optimised to operate under harsh environments, the New Generation XDC is available with either 10.8 litre PACCAR MX-11 or 12.9 litre PACCAR MX-13 engine. Their low kerb weights mean higher payloads and their uniquely designed exteriors are complete with a hardy bumper and grille as well as a steel radiator protection plate, make them ready for business. The TraXon automated transmission offers tailored software to support both on and off road driving. The XDC and XFC are available in 8×4, 6×4 and 4×2 axle configurations to suit your application.
Versatility with Tandem Options
The New Generation DAF XDC and XFC are available with a choice of double-drive, low-maintenance tandems to meet the specific needs of your operation.
The 19-tonne lightweight tandem comes with single reduction, leaf spring suspension, and options for either disc or drum brakes.
The more substantial 21- and 26-tonne tandems offer single reduction, disc brakes, and air suspension and is also available with hub reduction for heavy and off-road applications.
The variety in rear axle ratio options, ranging from 3.46:1 to 7.21:1, allows you to tailor the truck’s specification to the job at hand.

The ultimate cross-over: XD and XF Extra Robust
Entirely new to the New Generation Range are the XD and XF Extra Robust. The series combines the robust cabs of the XDC and XFC with an on-road chassis. Offering the perfect solution for operators in the construction and municipal sectors who don’t need full off-road capabilities. The high-mounted bumper and neatly integrated front under-run protection beam is available on all XD and XF rigid and tractor configurations .

Easy Adaptation for Bodybuilders
For efficient fitment of bodies, the New Generation DAF are available with a full range of ex-factory Body Attachment Modules. To support high bodybuilder-friendliness the trucks can also be specified with an expensive range of powerful engine, gearbox and flywheel PTOs. The layout of chassis components such as the EAS, battery box, AdBlue and fuel tanks is flexibly designed for optimal efficiency, with a wide range of options for controlling equipment from the cab.
