Founded in 1973 and with 14 sites throughout the South Coast and South West of England, Adams Morey is part of the Greenhous Group, the largest privately-owned dealership group in the UK. With over 350 employees based across; Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Camborne, Eastleigh, Isle of Wight, Newton Abbot, Nursling, Portsmouth, Redbridge, Salisbury, Saltash and Taunton. We specialise in: new and used DAF Trucks including the new DAF Electric range, new and used Fiat vans, commercial vehicle maintenance and repairs and all-makes commercial vehicles parts through TRP and Adams Morey All-Makes Parts.

OUR HISTORY

Our story dates back to 1952 when the Morey family started a transport business in Ringwood. Fast forward to 1973 and Morey DAF Truck was established in Ringwood, making it one of the first DAF dealers in the UK.

The merger between Leyland and DAF in 1987 meant a reorganisation of territory and Morey DAF Trucks acquired Lex Commercials in Southampton.

Morey DAF Trucks would change its name to Adams Morey in 1990 and the business would quadruple in size over the next 5 years opening sites in Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Eastleigh.

Further sites would follow with Adams Morey Salisbury opening in 1998, our Van Centre in Millbrook in 2006 and our Basingstoke site in 2012.

PART OF THE GREENHOUS GROUP

2019

Adams Morey became part of the Greenhous Group, with Kevin Swinnerton appointed Managing Director, marking the start of a new phase of growth and investment.

2021

The acquisition of Kingdon Wessex DAF added four new sites to the network, alongside the opening of our Parts Hub and Head Office in Southampton and the redevelopment of our Redbridge commercial vehicle super site.

2023

Growth continued with the opening of dedicated TRP Centres in Basingstoke and the Isle of Wight, while also celebrating 50 years of partnership with DAF.

2024

Adams Morey expanded further with the opening of Adams Morey Bridgwater, a strategically located DAF dealership near Junction 24 of the M5, strengthening service coverage across the South West.

2025

Proved to be a landmark year, with Adams Morey Southampton crowned Gold Dealer at the DAF International Dealer Awards. Further recognition followed with Adams Morey Portsmouth receiving DAF Aftersales Dealer of the Year and DAFaid Dealer of the Year, alongside additional awards for MultiSupport delivery, retail sales performance, and continued investment in new facilities including Adanac Park in Southampton and the Roche Depot in Cornwall.

In 2026, Adams Morey continues its expansion with the opening of a new TRP All Makes Workshop in Eastleigh, bringing van, truck and trailer maintenance and repairs together under one modern, purpose-built facility.

Together, these milestones reflect Adams Morey’s continued progression, driven by our people and focused on delivering exceptional service for our customers.
