We’re excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Service Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Newton Abbot site.

This is a key customer-facing role where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth, professional service experience from start to finish. Salary: £12.75 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch 12:30pm to 1:30pm (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors to the dealership.
  • Ensure all telephone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Screen and transfer all calls.
  • Ensure the reception area is well presented at all times.
  • Processing start and closing order numbers with customers and fleet companies.
  • Vehicle planning and use of DAF check system and company MIS.
  • Preparation of estimates.
  • Filing documents.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Previous reception experience combined with a professional telephone manner.
  • Able to always remain calm and courteous.
  • Confident and outgoing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
