Pall-Ex Logistics drives into the future with its first fully electric DAF XB Electric 190
Pall-Ex Logistics, part of the Pall-Ex Group, one of the UK’s best-known palletised freight distribution networks, has introduced a zero-emissions, fully electric DAF XB Electric 190 into its national fleet.
This 19-tonne 4×2 rigid is the company’s first step into fleet electrification, joining a fleet of around 100 DAF trucks that already form the backbone of operations. Leased through PACCAR Financial, the XB Electric will be assessed on live collection and delivery work in Dorset and is already exceeding expectations — completing twice-daily delivery routes of 55+ miles each, all on a single overnight charge.
Prepared and sign written by Adams Morey in Southampton, the new vehicle is road-ready and already making a positive impact in daily operations.
Powered by a 190kW PACCAR EX-M2 eMotor and a durable 282kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery pack, the DAF XB Electric combines performance, sustainability, and practicality. With rapid charging capability (20–80% in around 60 minutes) and smooth, quiet operation, it has won over Pall-Ex Logistics’ drivers and dispelled initial concerns around range and charging.
This milestone highlights Pall-Ex Logistics’ commitment to sustainable transport and net-zero ambitions, supported by its long-standing partnership with DAF Trucks and trusted local dealer Adams Morey.
